Purpose
SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM Science & Technology Directorate, requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical oversite and management for tasks associated with multiple projects in support of USSOCOM S&T.
Objective
Provide SME support to USSOCOM for a period not to exceed (NTE) 1-year with an expected commitment NTE 30 hours per month. It is expected the SME will primarily work remotely but also be expected to be available for travel to Headquarters USSOCOM and the SOFWERX facility in Tampa, FL as well as various Continental United States (CONUS) vendor locations.
Timeline
Completed Phase 1 - 04 October 2024 to 18 October 2024 Submissions to the SME Position Open: Interested respondents who could potentially provide Subject Matter Expertise that meet the needs of USSOCOM are encouraged to submit their 2-Page CV/Resume for USSOCOM review. To submit your 2-Page CV/Resume for potential Phase 3 attendance, please review the assessment criteria and follow the submission instructions that will be at the bottom of this webpage.
Completed Phase 2 - 31 October 2024 to 05 November 2024 Downselect: USSOCOM will downselect those respondents/applicants they feel have the highest potential to satisfy their SME needs. Favorably evaluated CVs/resumes will receive an invitation to a one-on-one on/around 24 October.
Completed Phase 3 - 15 November 2024 Interviews: During the interview process, selected applicants will be allotted a one-on-one session with the USSOCOM evaluation panel to discuss their qualifications. The interview will include a Q&A portion and discussions may continue outside of the meeting. Meeting details will be outlined in the invitation and qualifications will be assessed according to the criteria in the link provided below. If the USSOCOM evaluation panel favorably evaluates an applicant, negotiations for Phase 4 may immediately begin.
Phase 4 - Path Forward: A business-to-business agreement will be executed as a sub-award through the SOFWERX Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) (15 U.S. Code Section 3715)
