SOFWERX participated in an elementary Career Day event, engaging students through interactive discussions focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) career pathways. The engagement introduced students to real-world STEM applications and highlighted how innovation and problem-solving translate into meaningful careers. Through age-appropriate dialogue and examples, students were encouraged to connect their interests and education to future opportunities, aligning with the missions of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and SOFWERX to inspire the next generation of innovators and critical thinkers.

SOFWERX staff engaged with students to introduce STEM career pathways, helping build awareness, curiosity, and confidence in exploring future educational and professional opportunities.
During the event, students connected classroom learning to real-world applications, gaining insight into how creativity, problem-solving, and innovation contribute to impactful careers aligned with national defense and emerging technologies.
SOFWERX staff engaged across eight (8) classrooms, reaching approximately 240 students, expanding exposure to STEM career pathways and reinforcing connections between classroom learning and real-world applications.
