SOFWERX, in collaboration with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), participated in a STEM engagement event in support of the Gasparilla Bowl at MacDill Air Force Base. The event brought together collegiate athletes, coaches, and staff members and featured multiple organizations showcasing innovation, technology, and career pathways. SOFWERX engaged with attendees through interactive STEM activities and discussions focused on problem-solving, critical thinking, and future opportunities within science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This engagement aligned with USSOCOM and SOFWERX missions by promoting innovation, collaboration, and awareness of defense-adjacent STEM career pathways.

SOFWERX staff engaged with over 200 athletes and attendees participating in the Gasparilla Bowl through a Minute Math critical thinking challenge, fostering friendly competition while reinforcing rapid problem-solving and analytical skills
